​The legendary journey began in the ancient days of India before its first battle for an independent nation. In 1856, the first venture of the Agarwal family was trading Khadi Fabric. The business was incepted by Shri Bankey Lal, using his father’s name Badri Dass; under the brand ‘Badri Dass Bankey Lal’, at Raja-ki-Mandi, Agra. Years after, his son Shri Khonimal took over followed by his son Lala Bhagwan Dass.  Subsequently, as the years passed, Shri Onkar Nath Agarwal the eldest son of Lala Bhagwan Dass and his family moved away from the textile business; passing it on for his cousins to carry forward. In 1952, Shri Onkar Nath Agarwal and his two younger brothers; Rajendra Nath  Mahendra Nath established an Automotive Tractor dealership company named Anil Tractors. While this company headquartered in Agra, Uttar Pradesh its wings expanded through Western Uttar Pradesh, into Mathura and Mainpuri. Into 1975, Brijendra Agarwal the youngest son of Shri Onkar Nath Agarwal married Sudha Raniwala. After marriage, she espoused her name to Kavita Agarwal. The Raniwala family originally hailed from Beawar of Edward Mills; who then relocated to Jaipur in the 1960s. During 1980, Shailendra Agarwal & Brijendra Agarwal, the two younger sons of Shri Onkar Nath Agarwal moved to Pune to build a legacy of their own leaving the Automotive  Tractor dealership to Jagendra Agarwal, the eldest son.
